A Hagiographical Conspiracy Against General Inocencio Junquera?

Even though he is famed for being the first “liberal” governor general of Cebu, Is General Inocencio Junquera a victim of his own “hagiography”?

Given that his name is now synonymous with the Red Light District of a street named after him, General Inocencio Junquera who served as a civil and political governor of Cebu, Philippines from 1893 to 1895 was used to be famed for establishing the first cultural live theatre house in Cebu during his tenure. As a patron of the arts, General Junquera single-handedly uplifted the cultural landscape of Cebu by establishing a venue for the local talented dramaturges to perform their craft. Sadly, in the recent post Colonial environment of Cebu near the end of the 19^th Century, the still pro Spanish Inquisition Catholic Priests of the time (and even now) are still miserly of praise and even vehemently critical of the achievements of General Inocencio Junquera during his tenure as post Colonial governor general of Cebu.   

Largely because General Junquera was staunchly for the separation of Church and state – especially at the time where there was a large “Protestant Swedish Diaspora” in Cebu at the time. Unfortunately, the protests by the pro Spanish friars at the time outlasted Junquera’s “cultural legacy” and accusations of General Junquera turning a blind eye on the growing prostitution in Cebu got him compared to U.S. Civil War era General Joseph “Fighting Joe” Hooker because, like General Hooker, General Junquera’s post theatrical performance parties are usually frequented by Cebu’s high-end prostitutes at the time. Maybe it was just a coincidence that the plays staged by Gen. Junquera before the time of movie theatres are often frequented by affluent, heterosexual gentlemen?    

  

Was General Inocencio Junquera just a victim of his own hagiography given that the street named after him is now synonymous with Cebu City’s Red Light District? Maybe, but I do find it a bit disconcerting that it is only in Wikipedia that his “cultural legacy” can be found and Cebu’s “oral history” got him compared to the “pimp U.S. Civil War General” General Joseph “Fighting Joe” Hooker. Maybe the powers-that-be in the Cebu City Hall should consider rebuilding his “Teatro Junquera” as a venue for Cebu’s live theatre dramaturges.    

Did Elvis Presley Made Secret Espionage Missions During the Cold War?

Col. Tom Parker’s request for a “draft deferment” may be a clue, but did the “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” did espionage work for the US government during the Cold War?

If Elvis Presley did actual espionage work in behalf of the US government during the Cold War, it may have likely happened during his U.S. Army conscriptions days while being assingned as a Jeep mechanic in Freiburg of what was then West Germany. Given the easy acces to the Sudetenland – which was then largely under the control of the then Soviet Union, Elvis Presley could have easily performed top secret espionage work given his “celebrity status” at the time. But is there any proof to this? 

Given that Hollywood has been very cooperative with the US government ever since it set up the business of movie-making, it may have been likely that the Hollywood movie industry made “disinformation films” about Elvis Presley’s “secret spywork in the then communist era Sudetenland”. The 1984 movie Top Secret may have been just a spoof of every Elvis musical with US DoD cooperation ever made - i.e. Elvis' G.I. Blues - but it did its job of making the idea of “Elvis in the Sudetenland” spying for the US government to gather vital Cold War era intel somewhat improbable in the eyes of the 1960s era KGB. 

Hollywood also has a very good track record of providing cover for US government sanctioned espionage work that might have been uncovered by your typical spook. The 2012 movie Argo that stars Ben Affleck on the secret mission done by then CIA master-of-disguise Tony Mendez shows details of how the US government rescued the US Embassy personnel in Iran that were trapped during the 1979 Iranian Islamic Revolution that was only declassified back in 1998 in time for the then US President Bill Clinton to give commendations to Tony Mendez and the Canadian embassy personnel in Iran at that time who helped. It may have been very likely that we may be seeing an “Elvis in the Sudetenland” movie once the US government declassifies the details for the general public to see.   

Denver International Airport: Conspiracy Theorists Nexus Du Jour?

Billions of dollars over budget and still under construction 15 years after its alleged completion date, is the Denver International Airport now the nexus du jour of conspiracy theorists?

It may be just the “doomsday themed artwork” but conspiracy theorists across the political spectrum – i.e. from those with a “liberal streak” to the right-wing conservative white supremacists ones – seem to agree that there more going on under the supposedly idyll corporate veneer of the Denver International Airport. Now at 3.9 billion US dollars over budget – as in 3 times over its original construction budget - and apparently still under construction, especially in the airport’s lower levels, 15 years after its alleged completion date back in 1995, the Denver International Airport had attracted the fascination of both the old and new generation of conspiracy theorists on allegedly how the political and corporate elites will survive the upcoming “apocalypse at the expense of most of us ordinary working class folks. But is this a “conspiracy theory” that manages to hold water or is it just a speculation full of holes? 

The nexus of conspiracy theorists fascination of the new Denver International Airport and the ones that generate the most discussion probably centers on the “doomsday themed” artwork / mural decorating the main lobby of the airport. From my own perspective, the “post apocalyptic dictator” wearing a respirator mural seems to me like a rip-off of General Bison – i.e. the arch-nemesis of Col. Guile in the video game or the movie Street Fighter – i.e. the first one that starred Jean Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia. And given that this was made in 1995, it might actually be inspired – or maybe just a cynical rip-off – of both the movie and the video game Street Fighter.  

Another aspect of the Denver International Airport artwork / mural that drew attention of conspiracy theorists was the “brave new world” themed mural where people of different races are holding hands and standing side by side. Although not so inexplicably, it seems that only conspiracy theorists with a “white supremacist conservative Evangelical Christian streak” are the ones mainly offended by this particular artwork.

Another aspect of the Denver International Airport that draw attention to conspiracy theorist is that the private underwriters footing the “over-budget” part of the airport construction bill – the New World Airport Commission – because of their “alleged” Freemason links. While freemasons had raised the ire of conspiracy theorists due to their “alleged” control of the global economy and the world’s most powerful policymakers, it seems that the proof used by the conspiracy theorists of the New World Airport Commissions’ Freemason links is the Freemason symbol on the stone plaque placed in the airport’s main lobby. 

While the plausibility of a secret “VIP fallout shelter” secretly still under construction under the Denver International Airport is probably the “most plausible” of all the conspiracy theories due to the fact that until this very day, the lower levels of the Denver International Airport is still under construction while very strict security measures are in place to keep out the general public from seeing whatever’s being done under there.  Though allegedly this very spacious VIP fallout shelter is guaranteed to keep the Washington D.C. and Wall Street / Madison Avenue power elite survive the upcoming thermonuclear war in case it happens and keep them there safe from all the radiation for 30 years. On the surface, however, Denver International Airport is just like any other world class international airport equipped with six 10,000-foot runways that can handle the biggest of the modern jumbo jet airliners. 

Did Vladimir Putin Have An Ulterior Motive In Shooting Down The Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17?

Even though an international investigation team has yet to prove this, does Russian President Vladimir Putin have an actual ulterior motive in the shootdown incident of the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17?

Although the jury is still out on the extent of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s responsibility on the shootdown of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 Boeing 777 back in July 18, 2014 over the pro-Russia separatists controlled part of the Ukraine, many conspiracy theorists with a “liberal streak” around the world are already in a heavy discussion whether or not Putin have an “ulterior motive” in the downing of this particular civilian airliner. And given Putin’s recent rhetoric only sends him down a rabbit hole that could send him to The Hague to face war crimes charges anyone closely following world events could now safely conjecture if the downing of the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 Boeing 777 is serving a means of Putin’s political ends? 

Given Russian President Vladimir Putin’s declaration of war on Russia’s LGBT community and this probably includes anyone not adhering to a “white-Anglo-Saxon-Protestant-work-ethic” lifestyle – i.e. Bohemians / hippies, many now wonder if Putin’s hatred of the LGBT community – Russian and the rest of the world – could have him lead to do the “unthinkable”. As in assassinate a group of leading HIV / AIDS researchers on board the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 using the “Fog of War” of the unrest in Eastern Ukraine as a cover. Given that the death of leading HIV / AIDS researcher Dr. Joep Lange and 100 of the world’s other leading HIV / AIDS researchers could set back a search of a more effective and lower cost cure / drug regimen for HIV / AIDS for decades, would killing this group be a strong political statement of Vladimir Putin being sent tot the Russian and the world’s LGBT community? Given Putin’s “Medieval” view of the LGBT community, there might be some truth to this. 

On the assignment of blame on the shootdown of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 Boeing 777, a recent text message between two pro-Russian separatist militiamen in Eastern Ukraine named “Greek” and “Major” had revealed a plausible “screw-up” on the use of their captured BUK surface-to-air missile. The intercepted and transcribed text message conversation between the two pro-Russia militiamen seem to lead credence on President Putin’s complicity of the shootdown of Flight MH17 that could lead him to be put on trial in The Hague to face war crimes charges.  

Did Israel’s Mossad Assassinated US President John F. Kennedy?

If Oliver Stone’s cinematic opus JFK failed to fully convince everyone on the conspiracy of the “military-industrial-complex and the US government personnel tasked to protect the then US President Kennedy, did the Israeli Mossad the obvious overlooked suspect of JFK’s assassination 50 years ago?

It seems like the complicity of the state of Israel in the “conspiracy” behind the assassination of then US President John F. Kennedy back in November 22, 1963 seems largely overlooked by mainstream tenured historians and “big-wig” conspiracy buffs. After all, the then fledgling state of Israel did have some very legitimate reasons to “take out” President Kennedy during his visit to Dallas, Texas back in that fateful day of November 22, 1963 – where everyone old enough to remember who are still alive to this very day will never forget where they are and what they are doing at the time when they heard the news that JFK was assassinated. 

It now barely registers on the consciousness radar of self-styled JFK assassination conspiracy buffs that back in 1961 when President Kennedy was freshly voted and inaugurated into the US Presidency. Kennedy vetoed a bill that would allow supporters of state of Israel in the Capitol Hill – i.e. pro AIPAC Republicans – to start their own clandestine nuclear weapons program. President Kennedy signed it into law that forbade the federal government to send nuclear weapons starting material that would allow the state of Israel to start their own clandestine nuclear weapons program – as in manufacture in secret either weapons-grade uranium-235 or plutonium-239 that would never be found out by the IAEA. Even though it wasn’t until 1968 that an international nuclear weapons non proliferation treaty – i.e. Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty or NPT – as far back as 1961, the United States government was already spearheading an internationally binding agreement that would prevent the spread of nuclear weapons – especially to less-than-democratic states. 

Was Lee Harvey Oswald merely a patsy as a still unnamed and unseen by the now iconic Abraham Zapruder footage – the Mossad operative hiding in the now infamous “grassy knoll” that took the fatal shot that took out President Kennedy on that fateful morning of November 22, 1963? Or was the “Mossad operative” on that Grassy Knoll wearing a Ghillie Suit? Well, the Model 1891 Mannlicher-Carcano 6.5mm X 52mm rifle that Oswald used in shooting President Kennedy was later found out by the warren Commission during the course of the investigation that it was not sighted properly and had to be readjusted before firearms tests could be conducted. And the “weapons system” used by Lee Harvey Oswald is not much of a rifle and not much of a cartridge by top-tier professional assassin standards as Oswald was doubtlessly shooting old European made military ammunition.  Or did the Mossad operative who did shoot President Kennedy used a sniper weapons system that fires the 6.5mm X 52mm round but with a way better lower receiver than your stock Mannlicher-Carcano rifle? 

But, as everyone closely following the facts behind the assassination of JFK, Oswald only had a 50-yard shot. A competent shooter – even a licensed civilian gun owner who hunts and shoots recreationally on weekends – with a well-maintained Colt M-1911A semi automatic pistol could easily have hit JFK in the head from Lee Harvey Oswald’s vantage-point in the window of that now notorious Texas Book Depository Building. Though a few years ago I have managed to hit a half-silhouetted target from 50-yards away from an elevated position using a well-maintained 1950s era Smith & Wesson revolver, does this mean that Lee Harvey Oswald had more than luck on his side to have successfully shot President John F. Kennedy back then? 

According to Oliver Stone in his cinematic opus JFK – President John F. Kennedy was allegedly done to death by the military-industrial-complex while aided and abetted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Secret Service and the United States’ Central Intelligence Agency. Why the Catholic Church was left out by “prosecutor Stone” given that back then President Kennedy was frequently engaged in extra-marital trysts – I don’t know. Possibly it was an honest oversight and after all, we were, as a society, very “Politically Incorrect” during the early 1960s. Yet, a lot more “well-informed speculation” has been surmised about the JFK Assassination since Steve Weston “self-published” his book titled Woodrow Wilson and the Death of John Kennedy through Barnes & Noble and Borders back in 1998.  

But what about the “conspiracy” behind assassination attempt of President Ronald Reagan back in 1981 – was John Hinckley, Jr. just a "patsy" of the Military-Industrial-Complex? The fact is President John F. Kennedy was a proverbial godsend to the US Military Industrial Complex because during the Kennedy Administration, 31 Lafayette Class ballistic missile submarines were authorized and / or built plus Kennedy’s promise of sending a man to the Moon before the 1960s decade is out benefitted major American defense companies during the Apollo program. By contrast, during the first four years of the Reagan Administration, only 3 new ballistic missile submarines were authorized. Might we believe that the “military-industrial-complex” was behind John Hinckley, Jr.?
